Unfortunately, it's games like this that make me hate TGF2. :\

This is klik n play, not tgf2 actually. Just thought I'd wait almost a year just to tell you that. It was converted with tgf2 but I didn't change the production or anything.
What you have here looks good and is controllable without errors, but this is nowhere near done. If you want suggestions, you can go to the forums. You can have people test things by putting them in your Dumping Grounds (the second icon at the top of the page) and then posting the link in the forums (First item under Community toward the top right of the page) and getting feedback there.
If you need suggestions on what to do better, then you need to play games and watch movies here on Newgrounds and not submit anything at all. The more you watcha nd play, the more you'll get into your mind, and eventually, it'll spawn new ideas.
Please don't submit unfinished things to the Portal. That's not what it's for. If this passes, what then? It'll just junk up Newgrounds as a pointless test game, and what's the good in that?
Your core mechanics work. Now, you need an idea. No one can supply you with an idea better than what you come up with yourself. You can get suggestions from people, but the ideas you spawn in your own mind are ones that you can see, feel, and hear, rather than someone trying to describe what they see and hear. I was on here for quite a while before I got my ideas. But once they started coming, lots came, and they came almost all at once. Now, I have to get them all out of my head and into flash.
Good luck. Hope that helps. :)
After playing this game, my happiness is increased.
Some people will not understand this review. I guess they haven't found it yet.
Great game. :)
Well, this is diabolical. Well done.
If I had any problem, it'd be that climbing ladders is like threading a needle. You can hang to the left or right side of the ladder and still go up or down with no problem, but when you get to the floor, you have to be spot on or you can't get thru. The opening to get thru floors when on, or trying to get on a ladder is annoyingly tight when the controls are normal. If you opened up the area needed to get thru the floor, it'd help tremendously.
Also, spelling errors:
-At the beginning, when he's telling about the directional indicator, he says it's in the upper "rihgt"
-At the first timed level, the last screen says it's getting "though" instead of tough.
I stopped, but I don't know what level. You might want to add the level number somewhere. Then if someone has questions, instead of "that level where the spikes are there, but you go with the keys, but not the WASD ones..." you can know it's level 12.
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback! I'll fix the typos and look into the other issues as well!
This was actually a pretty cool game. The music, environment, and characters were all well done. The only, but biggest issue was horrible lag. Even on the lowest quality setting, at times it was delaying inputs so much that you ended up correcting when you didn't need to, and thus, got screwed up (usually died). If that lag could be removed, the game would do very well. Maybe it's trying to plot out the entire level even though you can only see a small part of it...? I hope you can get that corrected, because this could be really good. I played only to the up jumping on the pink blocks with the saws on both sides.
You might wanna try closing your other tabs or something and try again, it gets good after that part! (Hint: Go right instead of left.)
Good game. :)
But it needs a link on the main menu for highscores.
