The power ups don't seem to work. They should be automatic on a game like this, but despite 3 bombs and 5 axes, I died anyway.

epic-crap-app-design responds:

I am sorry.
I originaly made this game for mobile devices.
If you have an axe you can use it to chop down individual trees.
Pressing the bomb button in the midle should destroy all objects on the screen.

I will add the option to just press keyboard keys to activate it.

Scratch produces some extremely sub-par games. Try Flixel if you really care about making a good game.

ticoticonofubatransf responds:

Well , thanks for the suggestion , but how the title of the game says , its only a test. To i know how oline games work.

Resolution 1920x1080 is way big for those of us on a laptop. I couldn't play it.

OutbackPixels responds:

Hi Exedor, thank you for your feedback. We have now reduced our resolution & extend an invitation to come & enjoy more than the ukulele music :)

Use "Play as a Guest" or something. I'm not going to sign up somewhere and get yet another username and password when I don't know what I'm getting (despite your descriptions). It should be able to play here without the need for third party whatevers.

If you didn't make it, please do not submit it. It's a fairly simple concept.

Cthomas1486 responds:

is just a game, Exedor.

Isn't this a Construct2 template? Or a tutorial?

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation.

Templates are similar, in that they're a basic game that's already set up with code and sprites, but you then have to go and add your own touch to it before it's considered finished.

This wasn't bad, as far as it looks ok and the controls work, but it should, since that's what tutorials and templates do. This game has actually been submitted MANY times already. Since it's a public file template or tutorial, it will be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Good luck. :)

raidenslicer responds:

Thanks, Ill try to make my own thing next time, maybe a mario platformer, thanks as always.

You cannot use copyrighted characters in games, especially when Nintendo is concerned, as they're very picky about it.

SonicBoom2013 responds:

Blame mcleod gaming for it. they made the game.

But, you can't submit things with copyrighted content. Nintendo is especially picky about it. :\

MorbidGames responds:

Didn't know that! The game is removed anyways. Thanks for the link though.

Please don't submit test and 'early alphas' to the Portal. That's not what it's for. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

The Portal isn't for tests or unfinished submissions, tho: http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/content-submission

Good luck. :)

Oshani responds:
