I can't play because it won't let me log in as a guest. I'm not making yet another username and password for yet another random game that I have no idea about anything about the game.

FisalMohamed responds:

we will consider the idea of guest account thanks for your preview

No, adjust your setting to fit within the window. Why did you set this up at like 3500 pixels tall when most people have their monitors at about 1080 px tall?

Very little effort was put into this. Just because you made it from a tutorial and it seems to function does not make it a completed game. If you care, then take the time to put some effort into anything you submit. No one wants to play unimpressive games.

The lack of quality and effort, and the inattention to detail, in this case, not caring enough to make the screen resolution to where it fits normal monitor settings, seems to indicate that you do not care. This is why your version of Breakout was removed.

This game is not ready to be submitted, bro. :\

LarryQuartz responds:

It's work in progress and i just wanted to lay down the functions down before i make the graphics and everything, but i guess you're right it's not ready yet.

"The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings"

Please try allocating less memory in the WebGL player settings. :\

newbeings responds:

Thanks Exedor, I made the change. Please let me know if it works and if it doesn't, I'll try again.

Thanks again for the heads up!

Unfortunately, this seems to be the 'heavy' version of it. Something about it makes it pull heavy amounts of memory, and it nearly freezes my browser. I tried 'interactive' first, and then 'animation only' and I barely got past the menu each time. I have no suggestion how to fix that, but if your scores suffer, don't take it personally; that may be why.

DarkMysteryCat responds:

I meant "Light" in the way it's not complete (which doesn't really make sense, I know). For me it runs normally, but I tried it on my moms computer and it was super laggy. It's something I'm going to try to fix! I'm still rather new in Flash/Animate.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

This game is poorly put together. This is a template game, where all you did was design the layout of the levels, right? These games have a flaw where if you are stopped or at a low speed, you can't climb large hills. Cars can climb large hills, so this is annoying. If you programmed this game, you'd be able to fix that.

Also, some of the hills are so pointed that the car can get highsided and stuck on them. You should play your own games. If you did, you'd know that you need to put more effort into them.

bnagames responds:

The game is similar. Use space for jump over big hills.

The idea is ok, but there are some glaring problems that made it not fun to play.

First, the intro takes too long, and isn't skippable. If you don't want it skippable, make it a click-to-advance event, rather than a timed event.

Second, I walked over the tent, fell off the world, and had to watch the intro again. Going left is the noob test, and this failed.

The hit box for Abraham is too large. I was hitting enemies and getting hurt when they were not touching me. Only on the furthest edge of the strike zone, did I attack and not get hurt myself.

The gold hearts refresh only one life point? That's not enough, especially based on the previous point.

lailsonBr responds:

Thank you for your remark. First of all, I introduced it as a mandatory requirement so that the player could know one of the verses of the Bible and arouse his curiosity in reading the sacred text of God's word.

In the situation of you walking over the tent and falling in the water I released because I found it a little amusing I admit that it was a noob, banal and primary error, but any self-respecting player knows that if you fall in the water you risk drowning. .!

With respect to the area of attack I thought in several ways to solve the problem until throwing some object, but had like that effect of radius and also was a way of the enemy to cause damage to the character when it had collision between both ..!

And in life I put only a small amount to make the game a little more challenging, and spread hearts in several points of the level.

Again thank you ..!

Well ...um...

The audio is too quiet in some areas. Seems to get louder as the ...thing progresses.
The voice actor is terribly uninspired and sounds bored.
This is not a game.
This is not an animation; it's a slideshow.
Every time I click on the screen it goes full-screen. Don't do that.

Not sure what the intent was here, but this didn't have a lot of inspiration, and it shows.

ogier87 responds:

Thanks

It does not work. It stays on the menu. Maybe a clickable start button, rather than the Enter button, would be better?

DrewJayne responds:

thank you i will work on that for my next game

The character is well drawn. The animation is smooth. It looks like one arm is attached to the body, and one is not. There's nothing to do, for being a game, and no story for being an animation, tho. This is nowhere near ready to be put up, bro.

With that being said, please don't submit tests or unfinished things to the Portal. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the second icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums. http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

The Portal isn't for tests or unfinished submissions, tho: http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/content-submission

Good luck. :)

niiCri responds:

Thx for the suggestion ^^ . I'll try to post the complete one again in the next time. ^ ^

Isn't this a Unity tutorial? Or a template?

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation.

Templates are similar, in that they're a basic game that's already set up with code and sprites, but you then have to go and add your own touch to it before it's considered finished.

http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/terms-of-use/game-and-movie-guidelines

This wasn't bad, as far as it looks ok and the controls work, but it should, since that's what templates do. This game has already been submitted MANY times already, tho, and since it's a public file template or tutorial, it will be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Good luck. :)
