There's more regular photography here than time-lapse. At least time lapse has some interest to it, but regular doesn't. Some of the scenes were in cool, beautiful, or interesting places, but many of the scenes were in normal, not so interesting places. Albatross was all time-lapse, and it was ok, but unfortunately, this fell flat. :\ Sorry.

Gerkinman responds:

Thats cool man, I feel what your saying.

Why do people think that making their characters super-ugly in parts of their animations will help their score at all?

I liked this, but I didn't like the ugly-face parts. I don't know of anyone who finds that to add anything, but I know people who say it hurts the score, and it did in this case. Good animation, except for those parts. Just something to consider for the future.

Edwardio responds:

Thanks! Well I didn't create the animation to put on NG, so the faces aren't to try and help my score. But consider your constructive criticism acknowledged :)

Oh, yeah. You have my permission to submit more like this.

Alldin responds:

There will be more than this =)

Another Daily 1st. Can you handle it? Well, I predict Front Page too.

46 views at the moment, but that's my prediction. :)

Alucard responds:

Not one or another my bro
Sadly I'm just an underdog

Y'know what? I actually like your work. :)

brynimation responds:

Thank you my friend. That means a freakin' lot to me. You're awesome matey!

"Your submission must not simply be an ad for your site."

Your submissions comes pretty close to breaking this rule, there, Ms. Zombie. Please add a bit more to the content side with your next submission, ok?

ZiaZombie responds:

Oi... Seems like an ad? NOOOO it's a song! I'm guessing all that stuff at the end and the length of it give it that feel.

Hmmm.. What if I told you I've got my little animators and designers busy working on the first episode to my interesting tale? Once done, it'll be uploaded to here. 15-30 minutes or so. This is actually a piece of that story!

Cheers! (-;

Please don't submit pieces.

This is very nice. I really like it, and yet it's a nice picture, but it's a pointless animation. You could submit it (the pic) to the Art Portal and it'd do well. But as far as being in the animation Portal, it's really lacking anything it needs in order to be here. Even if it had music, an occasional bird chip or fly-by, rain, deer walking thru, SOMETHING else to it, then it'd make a nice screen-saver-like relaxing piece.

See "MLP Rarity bath time" in my favorites or cut & paste this: http://www.newgroun ds.com/portal/view/582959 (remove the space).

It's a picture for the most part, until you realize that there are things going on all over the place. When combined with the relaxing music, you get a wonderful relaxing piece.

This sweet picture has the beginnings of something cool and relaxing like that, but for now, it's just a picture, and this isn't the Art Portal. It's the animation Portal, and this really doesn't have any.

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

Alrighty, thank you for your feed back, I'll remember your advice next time when submitting, which will hopefully be the full animation in a few weeks, anyway.

Intros should be 15 - 30 seconds, not 'minutes' long. The intro is a short introduction to an animation or game, hence the name "intro." This is not an intro as it does not introduce anything. It really wasn't very interesting either. Sorry. Please don't submit incomplete items. Put a story with this (and shorten it) and it'd be fine, but an intro to nothing is a pointless submission, and technically, pointless submissions are against the rules, and the heart of Newgrounds.

3rabbitsproductions responds:

This introduction introduces the second episode in the Wonder Squad series. It isn't incomplete, I just couldn't import it into the Flash file I was trying to. If you actually took the time to watch the next video you would know that. And for the record Captain Cool, most GOOD intro's for shows or games nowadays exceed your pathetically juvenile 15-30 second time limit. Ever watch Game of Thrones? Or the Simpsons? Or play any video games that have come out in this century...like World of Warcraft? Or Call of Duty? Or Halo? Pretty sure their "intros" are longer than 10 seconds, chief. Thanks for the comments.
