[Wonder Squad Ep2 INTRO]

Intros should be 15 - 30 seconds, not 'minutes' long. The intro is a short introduction to an animation or game, hence the name "intro." This is not an intro as it does not introduce anything. It really wasn't very interesting either. Sorry. Please don't submit incomplete items. Put a story with this (and shorten it) and it'd be fine, but an intro to nothing is a pointless submission, and technically, pointless submissions are against the rules, and the heart of Newgrounds.

This introduction introduces the second episode in the Wonder Squad series. It isn't incomplete, I just couldn't import it into the Flash file I was trying to. If you actually took the time to watch the next video you would know that. And for the record Captain Cool, most GOOD intro's for shows or games nowadays exceed your pathetically juvenile 15-30 second time limit. Ever watch Game of Thrones? Or the Simpsons? Or play any video games that have come out in this century...like World of Warcraft? Or Call of Duty? Or Halo? Pretty sure their "intros" are longer than 10 seconds, chief. Thanks for the comments.

[To My Amazing Girlfriend]

While I'm glad you have a girlfriend, whom you love, I really can't give this video high marks.

The starting screen gave no indication that it was doing anything and ran way too long. As I was about to assume it was stuck or done, it started going. The sprites were very pixelated. The storyline was lite, and the bananas at the end were kinda hard to read, although I know what you were going for. The idea was good, but worked out kinda rough. So all in all, the video was serviceable, but not great.

I also find this to be quite rude and in poor taste, seeing as there are very few people here on Newgrounds who actually have real flesh and blood girlfriends. Not animated, not imaginary, not ponies, but real girlfriends. To rub in the fact that you have a life and a girlfriend really might rub a few around here the wrong way.

Although I'm not impressed with the submission, I'm not offended as some could be. So, am I somewhere in that list? Um... I'll let you know once I get back from Equestria. ;)

No, bud. You're not going to keep updating this file with newer, better stuff. Wanna know why?

Because there's a score attached to it. If you submit an updated file, you have a score that was earned on the old version. Why submit a new file and try to improve your score when you can submit new and start from scratch and hope for a better score? Now you see why no one cares about your promise to update with something better. They know better, but now you're probably figuring it out since I just told you. The score on this one will probably drop since it's a test and has no plot, storyline, or music, and is only about 4 seconds long. By the time you're ready to "update" this, the score will be such that you won't want to bother with this any more.

The "eye candy glow effects" are a good idea, but there's a reason they're not used. When you're at 30 FPS and there's a lot of activity on the screen, it'll cause lag in the movie. It's a good idea, but it causes problems, so it's not used.

The animation was good. It was fluid, but then again, that's what 30 FPS does.

And people ARE reviewing your flash. It's a test, and the Portal isn't for tests. Put them in your Dumping grounds. Then, post the link in a news post in your profile. That's what it's for. Your fans will get it there. Don't post them to the Portal. That's not where they go, and it encourages an endless stream of noobs to do the same. It'll also fill your account with blams or low scoring tests. That's not really what you want, now is it?

So, yes, keep working toward something great. But, no, please don't submit tests to the Portal. That's not what it's for.
