it's ASMR which apparently NG hasn't heard of. It invokes brain tingles with waveform algorithms if you turn off the lights and wear headphones. Problem with NG users is they are all 11 year-olds with no clue about this kind of stuff.

Unfortunately, it's a bunch of pictures of numbers, and was not interesting at all. This site generally revolves around animated content, of which, this had none (other than the Movie Maker transition effects). :\

I haven't been much of the type to blend in with the crowd. I prefer to be unique. Perhaps despite your disinterest, I may earn other people's interest in time, just as famous people today were rejected by critics that weren't very thoughtful towards the uniqueness of their projects. So instead they rejected them based on what they expected as a critic, not what they expected as an artist.

With a little work, this could be good. As it is, it's still very unfinished, tho. And don't add live action; no one here wants it. Notice how most everything else around here is drawn? Yeah, there's a reason for that. Newgrounds has always been about animation. Add live action and it'll kill your score.

It's not bad, and you did good animating it, but it's 5 seconds of running and that's it. It's kinda pointless to submit bits and pieces, y'know? The Portal is for finished items, so I rated good, but couldn't score well. Sorry.

I never animated anything else around it, so technically it is finished, but I understand your viewpoint. This was mostly just a practice animation because I've never done one before, and perhaps it would have been better to upload something with a bit more substance. BTW, no need to be sorry. I welcome constructive criticism.

Don't use photos as your backgrounds. It's considered cheating in animation circles. No matter how good the animated parts, your score will still suffer for it. ;)

New and improved?

Sorry, but it's not, and never will be.

The trailer is bad.
The video quality is bad.
The sound is bad.
The script is bad.
The acting is bad.
The actors are horrible.
The effects are uninspired.
The constant attempts to resubmit the same dish repackaged are annoying.
The reason you don't believe what your reviewers tell you, despite seeing it play out over and over again is beyond me.

The only way to improve this is to stop submitting it over and over and over...

That's a little of a exaggeration because this is only my second attempt. I can't keep re-editing every time I get bad review, but I can at least see if I get a slightly improved score. This is probably going to be my last trailer.

And I do believe what my reviewers tell me about the movie when it comes to what is wrong with it, but some things just can't be changed. Some things, I just have to accept hearing again because of the things I can't fix and that's one of my frustrating factors.

This was boring, frankly. this is not an animation, and this is not a game. If you need help, voice actors, collaborators, ideas, etc, go to the forums. You'll find it there. The biggest problem, tho, is the popup at the end. Un-announced and/or automatic popups are not allowed.

Yes, you're getting better. Yes, you still have a lot to learn, still. But you're trying and not giving up, and that's the trait that makes artists get good, and eventually get great.

Yeah, low score on this one, cuz it's short and ends abruptly. But someday... ;)

Now, you've been around for a while, so you should know that Newgrounds is a site for animation and games, right? Yeah, there's a reason that the other things you see on here are drawn.

The occasional 'real video' does come thru, but the score usually suffers here, because we prefer to stick to animations and games.

Newgrounds is a site for animation. There may be a few videos here and there that go against that but generally all videos on the site are some sort of animation. If it's not already, then I suggest you upload this to sites like Youtube or Vimeo and see how you do there, but Newgrounds tends to prefer animated material.

You're still at Level 1 rank. You might want to watch stuff and vote and get some EXP and rank. It'll help you figure out what'll go over well and what wont. :)
