Too many ads.
Too little time on the clock. ...so you get more ads played.
Add a reset button on screen so if I know I've missed the shot, I can reset before having to sit thru the booing and the clicking of the retry button, and of course, having another ad pop up.
These games must be a cash cow for you. It takes about 2 seconds to play and/or screw up on a level, and then there's another ad. With 16 levels, and annywhere from 0 (lvl 1) to over 10 screw ups per level (some more, some less), that's over 150 ad views for you. Raking it in with your little shovelware games.
What you have looks, plays, and sounds decent, but there's not nearly enough to it yet, which makes it kinda pointless to submit.
The control is fine. The music is good. The background sometime moves way too much when you jump, making it rough to watch. Backgrounds should only slightly move since they're far away. When he squishes against a wall, that's just weird.
With that being said, please don't submit tests to the Portal. If you want feedback and tips, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.
Good luck! :)
Man, I just have to say... Thank you. I really think you gave me hope. I have just barely began creating games and such, and I want to make it up there with the big league. I will take your advice, and set out on my journey.
