Please don't submit unfinished things to the Portal. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. If you don't know, it's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

The Portal isn't for tests or unfinished items, tho: http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/content-submission

Good luck. :)

Use MOUSE controls. >:|

As a game, it doesn't work. As an animation, it's ok. please submit it as an animation, not a game.

Your submission opens other windows, which is against the rules.

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation.

Templates are similar, in that they're a basic game that's already set up with code and sprites, but you then have to go and add your own touch to it before it's considered finished. Nothing was added to this.

This wasn't bad, as far as it looks ok and the controls work, but it should, since that's what tutorials and templates do. This game has actually been submitted many times already. Since it's a public file template or tutorial, it will be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Good luck. :)

Ah. Okay. I only looked at the Unity terms of use, they said it was fine to use it as long as I don't profit from it. I guess the "Your submission must not be a modified version of someone else's work" phrase should have notified me.

Please do not submit pointless demos to the Portal. That's not what it's for.

Sorry, but this just not a good game. :\

It wasn't very challenging at all. There were a lot of floors, which made up for it, a bit, but it was still mostly a walk.

The Super Mario sprites shouldn't be used. They're copyrighted material from Nintendo, and Nintendo does actually get pissy when people use their sprites/characters in games. That's why it's in the rules:

Ok, I'm done with this. I've had my computer up for 4 days with this running non-stop, and that's waaaaay too long.

Medals earned: 4. It showed onscreen that I should have earned at least to medal #9, but it never showed up in my medals.

I understand the point of an Idle Game, but this is not an idle game. You have to click to get EXP, and even tho it eventually starts automatically, the values needed are just too high compared to what's coming in. You shouldn't have to babysit a good idle game.

I'd advise you to play your own games before submitting them here. If you're bored with it, then we're going to be more so, because you know when the next achievement is coming, where we are playing blind.

I'd also suggest setting it up to re-send the medals when the game is reloaded. That way, if one medal didn't show up, or if the connection was offline when a medal was earned, then the player has another chance at getting the medal they've earned.

No need to respond to this. I know you've put up another version from your responses. I just didn't want to stop this one to go to another one.

Blobzone responds:

Yes, i agree with you. Try out idle slayer, or idle pixel slayer if you like. The balancing there should be better.

Isn't this a Unity template or tutorial?
