This isn't art. You may have made the cat, but that doesn't qualify as art. This is a photograph of a picture on your wall, and photographs like this do not belong here. This should be removed by the art mods.

Please submit more of your other work. It's better.

TACOZ responds:

Yeah go look at Duchamp's "The Fountain" you fucking amatuer...

It's a good picture, but how is this rated E??

That's a perfect square.

...not the most attentive lover, is he? :D

Launch all zigs!

It's good and all, but can you make anything, um, pretty? They're well done, don't get me wrong. I mean, I like looking at deformed, damaged, skinless people with open nostrils and no irises as much as the next person, but they're just not exactly pleasant to fap to.

Can you make some more like Orbit, or Android, or Cybike? Journey's End and Waiting are great as well. Maybe the disembodied heads are getting to be kinda like eating the same food everyday.

tlishman responds:

Haha, thanks!

I appreciate your comments, its always great to have feedback. These are pretty easy to knock out as you just sculpt and flow with your imagination. But i'll take that in mind and maybe think about producing less extreme pieces.

Please be aware that whoever scouted you is on the line as well with the art you submit. If you submit bad art, it reflects poorly on them.

Grumpy-green-shroom was cute, as was Gherky. Bo-Diddles and Toasty Fingerlets showed some nice talent. Those are what got you scouted; art that showed promise.

Your last 2 submissions are dropping in quality, attractiveness, and probably score as well. This piece is something a talented child might produce, but I know you're more than that based on your other submissions. Please make more of those, because this one is not fun to look at.

For a better opinion, ask the person who scouted you. They're reputation is on the line as well. Out of respect for the one who scouted you, please submit more of your good stuff.

Bumbleshroom responds:

Everyone is a talented child, motherlover! So I can more than happily deal with that comment and the weighty down-score!. One thing your review doesn't do is further explain where to take the artwork forward. This piece is deliberately naive looking as it's a new style that I was approaching. The submissions aren't dropping in quality if it's just a style you're complaining about. If you were complaining about the quality and the overall attractiveness; being an artist yourself, you'd say to me a more specific 'I liked such and such about such and such image and if you brought that to this concept it would improve' rather then slating me as if I don't take myself seriously, then maybe I'd take you seriously too. I have no disrespect for the person who scouted me at all, and I didn't disrespect them through this piece. Yes it's more lighthearted but at least it's not just a pair of badly drawn tits. Anyhow I mean no disrespect to you at all!, the fact that you put the time in to write so much about it kinda made me happy! So thank you dude for your time and your concern! Glad you liked the rest of my work! Peace! :)

This is good. Submit more. :)

MrEavs responds:

Thanks! I will, as soon as I finish them.

It's good. But these 30 minute, and 1 and 2 hour speedy things [...and a few pony haters as well (see review below this one)] are bringing down your scores. So go ahead and start back on the "full time" ones. These are nice, but the others are better, and better for your score.

draneas responds:

Wow! Errm, thanks! Though I like the score system it really doesn't say much, cause there are, like you said, a lot of trolls/haters/envious people out there, who vote you down. Of course I will do the occasional "full time" drawing. But I guess you can see how the 30 minute challenge also improved my skill (at least on ponies) in anatomy, poses and I guess even a little in perspective in the last two (or so) weeks. And don't forget the speed. ^^ And as long as I'm participating in those I will upload them here too. Thanks again!

It's good, but go ahead and fill up the page. It's ok. Most of my at at the moment is from my drawing book too, so that's not a problem. Hey, you got what ya got, right? But all that extra space is just begging for something to go in, and lots of white space hurts your scores. Go ahead and fill it up. See my art to see what I did. Actually, I may have gone too close to the edges on some, but they still turned out ok.

'Vladimir' is the same way, but the white space is within the drawing. Add more detail or content into the white spaces and it not only makes the picture more interesting, it also keeps it from looking incomplete or noobish.

hardly-thinking responds:

thank you for the tips! i will do!
