I be envying one o' dem characters, there. ;)
The lower part is nicely detailed, and the top part has detail and interest... but the middle seems a bit ...unfinished and plain. It seems to be a landscape of gradients with no detail. The gradients seem very plain. The contrast is really high. The lights are light, and the darks are very dark, maybe a bit too much. It needs some texture or detailing to make it lighter, brighter, and make this section fit into the rest of the composition just a bit smoother.
Personally, I like to see color, but if it's a black & white comic, color isn't an option, but it makes the contrast more important.
This is quite possibly the most fair critique I've gotten, thank you!
The Haunt from the actual comic is very plain, and made with light gradiants. I wanted it to resemble it in the corrupted version, hence why it's like that. I sort've wanted all of the attention to go to the middle parts of the piece, but I fear in doing so I sacrificed the rest of it to the realm of bland and boring.
She can sneak up on me in the forest. :D
...I never go to the forest. :\
Now, I understand WHY people put copyright stamps into their pics, but GAW! that's annoying when they're right in the middle of the action! :\
Dood! This is quite a drop in quality from your other stuff. You might want to step it up a bit.
Your other stuff was interesting and all, but this one's kinda rough. :\
Have you got anything like your Robot Day submissions in the works?
Looks like someone didn't read the description.
I think those guys in the boat are screwed.
I also think that if they didn't see that thing coming, it's their own fault. :)
As interestin as these are, where's the color? It's really lacking without it. It just is unfinished and grey.
Like I said: materials coming soon.
