The music was nice, but the "flash" was boring! There was no color, no pictures, nothing. It would've been better to have a peaceful picture (your drawings, not a photo grabbed from google) at one side and have the words scrolling on the other side. For example, a tree with falling leaves, next to a peaceful stream. The leaves slowly fall as the text scrolls. Maybe have several pictures as the flash proceeds. Start with a flower, and have it bloom. Then go to the beach and have waves. Then go to the tree with the leaves falling. Have the text be a nice, gentle, but easy to read font. Anything too complex may make it hard to read.

Also, be aware if your spelling. You wanna know what happens when you submit poorly spelled text? People read it just like this: (remove space)

Don't submit things that YOU didn't make. If jmkrebs30 made it, then have him submit it. It's one of the rules here on Newgrounds, and we take them very seriously. The rules are on the submit page. Check into them. They can save you from a lot of trouble.

Five star ratings are for people who work hard at their computers for days and weeks and months to produce something awesome. They don't submit parts or bits or tests or loops. They redo and refine and rework their craft until it's the best it can be. Then they submit it, and they are rewarded with the rating they deserve.

You've done none of these things, and so you'll get the rating you deserve. This should be blammed, because it's short, unfinished, and pointless, but in a way, I hope it doesn't. If it passes, then I can revisit this comment occasionally, and cut & paste. I don't want to have to retype all this out again.

ahhhh god, how many times i have to say it, it's nothing i just made it as a demo or a teaser for my pro.

Flash submissions are not judged differently based on anyone's experience level. They're based on whether they're complete, functional, and interesting or fun.

This wasn't bad. The intro was too long. A screen with a title and nothing else seems like an eternity after you're done reading the words. If there's any way you could speed it up or add another scene at the beginning of the animation to get that out of the way sooner, it'd help. Also, you want to add stop code into the flash so it doesn't loop. The new music loops over the playing music, and that's bad.

Even though you're a 'beginner,' that still doesn't mean that this sux. Actually, it's not bad. It doesn't deserve a 5, but it's not a 5 submission like http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /581946 (remove spaces), to pick a Nyan-themed one. Can you see why that one has a higher score than this one? Should you be offended that it has a higher score? Of course not.

As you improve you can expect your scores to improve. In the meantime, don't sweat it when you submit something and the score is lower than you think it should be. Compare yours to others and then ask yourself, 'what can I improve to make this look/sound/perform/etc more like' ...what ever flash or author you're trying to be like. If yours looks like theirs, then your scores will be like theirs.

So, you're not going to be judged differently than others. If you submit something good, you'll get a good score. If you submit something awesome, you'll get an awesome score. If you submit something while you're improving, then you'll get a score that someone who's improving deserves.

Thanks for the input. I tried to put a stop code at the end but I couldnt figure out how to. it wouldnt let me put any actions into the frames. And it would be very helpful if you could give a link to a tutorial that helps cut music while in the flash player.
