What you have is good. From what you have here, I can tell that once you start producing real animations, I know you'll be making some really great thing! Being new at flash is fine. We all start there. Go to my most recent news post for tips and tutorials that might be helpful, although, you're well on your way already.

With that being said, please don't submit tests to the Portal. If you want feedback and tips, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

Good luck! :)

Taken your advice and moved on to the dumping ground. Cheers buddy!

Oh, YES!

Superb in every way. This was fantastic! :)

Hi, and welcome to Newgrounds.

Now, you do know that Newgrounds is for animation and games, right?

The occasional 'real video' does come thru, but the score usually suffers here, because we prefer to stick to animations and games.

This is video, and so this is better suited for youtube. :\

Minimeowz responds:

I would say no, on the grounds that an artist seeks to have as many people as possible see their message. On youtube, there are so many people that when you post something, only 3 people see it. I have about 3 views on this video, and it's been on youtube for a year. This was a good choice to post it to new grounds because more people have seen my message today than in one year on youtube. Youtube is mostly Vlogs... my video is art. This site is a great site to share your art :)

Yes. Everything must be explained to the sheep since they do not like to think for themselves. :)

Please don't procrastinate on the next one. This is well done! :)

...oh, yeah.

Bring dis.

Thanks a lot. Thanks everyone for the ratings. Keep them coming!

You don't want to upload an update. Here's why:

People are voting on an unfinshed item. It will get a medium score. The more votes in, the harder it is to change the score. When you finish and submit the "update," you will be trying to improve an already set score, when a new score will be much better. That's why we tell people not to submit unfinished things. It's always better to submit new so you get a new score. But then, you have an unfinished bit or part floating around. Why bother?

Finish, then submit. :)

Madnesscrazy123 responds:

Okay, I'll do that :D

Dood! What's the music that plays on the PLAY button screen?

SoulViruz responds:

Im glad you ask the music is called Eternity - Memory of Lightwaves. Its from Final Fantasy

What you have is ok, but there's not enough to it, which makes it kinda pointless to submit.

deimos99 responds:

thanks for the advice

It was entertaining, but the audio was rough. The P's and B's made a hard pffft sound in the mic tha was very pronounced. Watch this one by Ricepirate:

You'll have to cut n paste, and remove the space, but it's a very helpful and fun sound tutorial.

Hope that helps. :)

thanks for the heads up!
