[The Real Hungery Games]

It's usually not a good idea to submit things that were made just 'cuz we were bored.' And, yeah, this was kinda rough. :\

Now, you know that Newgrounds is a site for animations and games, right? Yeah, there's a reason that all the stuff you see around here is drawn. Although real video does come thru occasionally, the score suffers because we like to stick to animations and games. This is video, and it would do better on youtube. :\

Do you have anythng animated you can submit? :)

This was actually kinda funny. It was all a set up! That was funny. The moving around was kinda cheesy, but necessary. The sound was annoying. Maybe a bit softer and it would've been ok. Now you know that normally, Newgrounds is a site for animation and games, right? Yeah, there's a reason that the other things you see around here are drawn.

The occasional 'real video' does come thru, but the score usually suffers here, because we prefer to stick to animations and games.

Toymageddon was really good, and had no people in it, so the score reflected that. But this video, while still being funny, was still close enough to video that I think the score will still suffer for it. :\

Whatever you did with the sound on this one, keep doing it. The sound was much improved over the others. Usually, I have to turn up the volume, but with was well levelled on this one. :)

As for this video, it's absolutly horrible. Really. I mean, screaming and throwing various food items on yourself and more screaming. This is better suited for youtube. :\

Dude! Your credits are half of the whole thing! :\

And almost anything that comes from Windows Slideshow Maker counts as a slideshow, and slideshows aren't allowed. That's why your stuff keeps getting removed. Haven't you wondered why they keep removing your stuff? It's in the submission terms.

As for updating an existing submission, don't. It's a bad idea, and here's why. If you update an existing submission, you give a new submission an old score. With a new submission, you don't want to improve a score, you want it to be judged on its own merits. That's why we tell people not to upload unfinished items. Finish it and let it get the score it deserves, rather then trying to change the score an oldere version earned.

Also, play attention to details, as they affect the way people judge you and your work. Spelling and grammar are important.

Secrets only has 1 c, not 2.

If you want feedback and tips, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums>whichever best suits your goals). That way, people can see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want. ...or getting removed.
