Why do people submit Halloween games when it's not Halloween? And Christmas games when it's not Christmas? It's Easter time, or will be soon. THAT'S what you should be working on.

There's only one level. There needs to be many levels.

Fixed!

Don't submit loaders; submit your game!

dcode responds:

I'd love to, but the game has been written in Java so there is no other way. I am currently trying to improve this, though :) Kind of a special implementation just for NG!

Not bad.

You forgot to add a high score link on the main menu. What good does it do to have high scores if no one can access them til they submit their own score?

Other than that, it was a decent game.

Will do

You're coming along with your designs. In earlier games, I'd said that the designs were a nice idea, but the designs used were yo complex. You've made these much easier to recognise quickly, and that's good.

If I could suggest anything, I'd request that the sparkles go away quicker. When you click on a group, they blow up into a fog of sparkles and go away. The fog hides the pieces, though, and when you're racing against the clock, every bit counts.

Not a bad game, but you lost points.

But you need to use different gradient colors with the enemy shapes and the background. Use dark blue and light blue (or some other color) for the enemies. If you use black in the gradient and black for the background, you end up having hidden edges on the enemies. Several times, I ran into an enemy that wasn't there because the edge matched in with the background, but the computer still registered it as an enemy edge.

I also docked you points for the ads. There are too many. I understand one at the loading screen. But I got one when I checked the high scores before I even played. Then I got another after submitting my score, and every time I checked the scores. That's too many. After playing for several times, it's possible to have viewed 10 ads, and at 15 seconds each, that's 2 1/2 minutes of waiting. This was a problem with Countermeasures also, but I didn't review that one.

Ads help you out, but if you add too many, it hurts you because no one enjoys the game.

When it messes up...

Quickly replace the non-working file with something that will make a blank white background or a message like: "This is broke. Please Blam."

If the viewers see anything working, they'll assume it's just thier stuff that's not working and they may still vote it thru. If you replace the file with a blank screen or a message, it'll get blammed and you'll be ok, and can resubmit later when it's working. If you replace the broken file with a working file, you're score will be reduced by the vote on the non-working version.

It's always better to HELP the bad one get blammed so you can get a real score on the working version.

Colors, not patterns.

There's a reason why these games use solid colors for the pieces. I like the idea of using patterns for the pieces, but ideas dont always work, and that's the case here. The patterns are too complex, and it makes the pieces difficult to identify quickly, and in this type of game you need to be quick. The complex patters were difficult to distinguish from the complex background, and it made this not fun to play. Sorry.

Not bad, but way too short.

The game worked, I guess. There wasn't much to it, though. Make it bigger and include more stuff to do. Add more levels, enemies, music, and such before you submit anything more. A game with one person to shoot is too short to remain on here. Sorry

I ran out of ammo!

Since the instructions were in french, I had to figure out that the blue batteries were the ammo cans.

I ran out of ammo and there were no ammo cans on the screen. I still had all my men. Once I ran out of ammo, I couldn't fight at all to get more ammo, and I got no new ammo if I died. If you use all the ammo and there's no more, how are you supposed to continue playing even if you haven't lost any men?

The game looks good, but plays bad. Sorry. :\
