[Animation test to music]

It's things like this that are destroying Newgrounds.

How should I vote on this? What's here is good. What's here is entertaining and hints at an enjoyable finished item.

But that's the problem. It's unfinished. There's just enough here to be considered 'good.' But there's not enough here to be considered 'finished' so how should I vote?

If I vote 0, then this could be blammed, and if it's not finished, why should it be on here with all the things that ARE completed? But this has some good in it, so is a 0 accurate for what was submitted? Not really. But what's the alternative?

If I vote 2, which is the minimum score to pass it, then if it passes, it will forever be unfinished because you'll submit the finished item as it's own file, so we'll have both the finished and unfinished versions on here. And, no, you can't delete it later. At least not without sending a few messages off to Wade or the mods and asking it to be deleted, and few authors ever do that. I can't vote higher than 2, because 3, 4, and 5 are scores that should go to finished items that deserve a full score, and this isn't finished. Think about it; who would give a 4 or 5 to half a story?

This is the debate, and this is what's destroying Newgrounds. No one wants to blam something that has some good in it, but no one wants Newgrounds full of halves and parts and bits and tests. This isn't Testgrounds, after all, right? But so much unfinished stuff gets thru now because people see unfinished things on here right next to all the finished stuff, and no one knows what's supposed to be here now; finished, unfinished, or both.

I like what's done. I wish it was all done. I may pass this to use it as an example when explaining the "Too good to blam, but too unfinished to pass" issue to people. Would like to see it finished, tho.

...but why would I want to have a animation of some guy whining for 45 seconds, y'know?

So it's good in that you accomplished what you were trying for, but it's bad as far as what we want here on Newgrounds.

Not a muslim? But you liked the story. Ok.

It's ok to like a story. Think about what was said, though.

The boat: Was the king taking the boat by force because he was stealing it or because it was owed and not yet given?

The Well: I have no problem with that one.

The boy: The man kills the boy without a word being said. His explanation was that the parents were 'true believers' meaning they were muslims. The boy was not a muslim, so the man killed him and "hoped the parents would have another to replace him." If the story was animated as it was written in the Quran, then this proves a problem with the teachings of the Quran. The Quran says unbelievers must be given the chance to convert and pay the Jizya tax. He killed the boy solely because he was an unbeliever. This is true islam: kill the unbelievers.

The animation was basic, but good. I liked most of the music and sound. The waves were calming. The words went by fast enough that it was hard to read it all before they went to the next part. The message should be looked at just a bit deeper, my friend. :)

[Zebra Joke: Adapted Horse]

The music wasn't very good though. Definately not the best I've ever HERD. :[

With zebra jokes like that you are going to put Zebra Humor out of business! Good job!

Keep in mind, Zebra Humor is a volunteer organization with one person who didn't even know how to put an all text video on youtube 48 hours ago, and only uses paint to animate at the moment. It may not be good, but it is Zebra Humor's best.

The music is where Zebra Humor will have to disagree. It is "Razor's Theme" from Maniac Mansion. She is the most punk rock female videogame character of the 90s, or possibly ever. The song represents the awesomeness of a zebra that goes into bars. Most zebras do not do that!

As for Zebra humor, I'm quickly realizing that the word "Zebra" and the phrase "there really isn't any" can be used interchangeably.
