Isn't this a Stencyl tutorial or template?

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation.

This wasn't bad, as far as it looks decent and the controls work, but it should, since that's what tutorials do. Since it's a Stencyl platform tutorial, it might be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Good luck.

Too many ads for a shovelware game.

Too mant ads!! And the game sux too. Did you play it before submitting it?

There's no end to level 1 in arcade mode?

Pong is overdone. Pong is boring, as it always was. Why didn't you add anything new to make it interesing? People don't even add or change the colors.

Love Flixel; hate Pong.

Make something fun. :)

The premise is good. The graphics are ok. The gameplay needs help. She can't jump worth a darn. Even the small jumps she barely makes. SHe's also very slow, especially compared to the monster. One is avoidable, but two make the level a pain in the ass. :\

This is not a website for little children. Please do not encourage them to come here by submitting little kid games.

This game has great potential but the battle system is too difficult to figure out. If I continue to press the dam arrows, the enemy is still attacking me. If I just attack without arrow pushing, then no damage is done at all. The arrow pushing sux. It's boring. A better alternative it to have the arrow pushing, but the player attacks at every 10 correct arrow presses, and does the full earned attack at the first error or when .

Also, we need more information. A battle starts; which one is me? Which is the enemy? Or are there 2 enemies? I'm pressing arrows, so I should be building power...where is it? I don't see any bar raising with every push, and if it takes multiple presses to start showing, well then the guy's too weak. What are the 4 icons, and how do you use them? I found some info in the item equip screen, but if you don't go there first, then you're lost. There should be a name by each so people have an idea of what's what.

Ha! I won a battle! I found that if I mash the arrow buttons and watch the blue bar under the left guy and hit space when the number is 20+, then I can attack with some power.

Space Bar to get out of the victory screen would be nice, since the main play is all buttons.

Ok, so I've figured out the gameplay, but this button mashing thing is just too uncomfortable and unpredictable. This really sours the game, unfortunately. I know that's not how you intended it. People who type fast will do well at this game. people who don't... will write reviews like this one. :)

You've got a lot of little questions, so I'll try and respond to them with little answers.

Having the player attack automatically would defeat the purpose of having four moves to choose from.

The tutorial instructs you to use the spacebar to switch between attack and charge mode. I feel like given the direct similarity between the arrows and the abilities below, it should have been fairly obvious how to use the particular attacks. Press the arrow corresponding to the right icon to use that attack. These can be customized in the menu.

Your power does build up as you press buttons, but it will happen faster if you press them deliberately. I mucked around with lowering the penalty for hitting incorrect buttons, and found that the best way to stop button mashing is to make the penalty about 1/3 of the maximum power you can get for pressing a button. The penultimate ability you can acquire in the game, Adrenaline, makes it somewhat more beneficial to mash.
