Please don't submit tests to the Portal. That's not what it's for.

Please don't submit tests or unfinished things to the Portal. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. It's the third icon from the left at the very top of the page when you're signed in. It looks like a bucket with an arrow pointing down. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

Not bad. but needs a lot of work before it's great. Don't use Alt, Ctrl, Shift, or any other system keys. It really pisses your players off to have windows pop up during play, or to have some setting change cuz it popped up and in an effort to close it quickly, you changed something and you don't know what. Yeah, fix that ending/dying thing. Also, give a little bit of a start before death approaches. let us start running, give a menu, a "Ready? Go!" or whatever so we know we're on. A rundown of the controls before we get to the playfield helps too.

Whether it's stolen, or using copyrighted characters, or whatever, it's still something that keeps getting removed for a reason, by the moderators of this site. Why, then, do you keep attempting to resubmit it? Would you like to be banned from submitting altogether?

You cannot use copyrighted characters in games, especially when Nintendo is concerned, as they're very picky about it.

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation.

Templates are similar, in that they're a basic game that's already set up with code and sprites, but you then have to go and add your own touch to it before it's considered finished. You added nothing to this, really.

This wasn't bad, as far as it looks ok and the controls work, but it should, since that's what tutorials and templates do. This game has actually been submitted MANY times already. Since it's a public file template or tutorial, it will be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Please put more effort into your games, Jagdish. They are the same templates with different icons each time, which counts as shovelware, and shovelware gets removed.
