Yay! She's soooo cute! :3

SweetPastels responds:

Aw, thanks. :3

But, it's NOT complete. It's a half-done, incomplete person. It's not attractive to look at. Sorry.

kuduo responds:

i did it on purpose, it's a way of making sculptures called half-bust

These are not sprites. Sprites are those pixelated characters from video games. They must be in that pixelated style to be considered sprites.

As for these drawing, watch how people work. When you run, you never put that front leg straight out. It's always bent to some degree until it's starting the forward push. That forward push is the leg straightening out. The back leg bends as you bring it up front.

Also, watch your size on these pics. This is 4000 pixels, and that's so large that it takes forever to load.

Skruskie responds:

Well, I use a mac, so I don't have the experience of it taking forever.

But thx for the tip!

Pika-cute. :)

hhoulding responds:

Sure is :)

The picture looks awesome, and yet, it's way too big! It's taking forever to load, and is 4x the size of my screen (in dimensions). At full size, all I get is a white screen cuz only the upper corner is visible. The dude on that thing's head almost fills my screen. It's nice to zoom in, but you want it to be with a magnifier, not a microscope. ;)

sketchnate responds:

I fixed it :D I didn't think anyone would zoom in, but it's smaller now

NIce! I like this one! :)

Try to keep the dimensions to where they fit within the screen, or pretty close. It's nice to have the ability to get a closer look, but you want it to be a closer look with a magnifier, not a microscope. This one isn't horribly bad, but when I bring it to full size, I only get a screen full of the tower. That's a wee bit close.

It's a common situation. Many people submit large to overly-large dimensions. I adjusted mine to just lower than my screen's dimensions so that it was visible, but nothing was off-screen.

I saw one where the guy submitted a piece that was over 8000 pix wide. It was so large it not only couldn't be seen, but it slowed the computer when trying to scroll around. x)

I like this one. She's cute, and this is well done. I look forward to seeing more from you. :)

Zcheio responds:

This is really really helpful :) Thank you for the suggestions!

Wavechan responds:

Go go go!!! :D

The absence of the nose is fine. The ear is out of place and looks weird, but it's the general fuzziness of the whole piece that diminishes it. If her face was in focus and the rest eas fuzzy, it could be a cool effect, but there's an imbalance between the fuzzy and clear that makes it just not quite where it should be. :)

cloudandis responds:

Thank you c: I agree. USUALLY my lines are a lot more solid ((although shakey due to my hands)) and the colors fit in them pretty well. I guess I might want to stick to paint.net instead of gimp for line art :U

This was a first attempt image at drawing with only gimp x-x" you can see how some of the brush tools worked.

Cool stuff! :D

Grenyol responds:

:D thanks!
