Although, lightsabers cannot be thrown. They are set to shut off when they leave the hand. In the movies, anytime someone drops their lightsaber, or gets their hard cut off, the lightsaber falls to the ground and is off.
And, yes, Faggot_Face was correct about the heat nature of the weapon as well.

But he's out driving his car and buying gifts, and then all of a sudden, he's being hugged by some chic and it's over. It's great, but I think a part is missing...?
The story is kinda left open, but basically. He sees the two butterfly's together and realizes how precious love is.
