[Newgrounds in 2019]

Great game. The hidden 2019 clicks medal in the Text Box Clicker game was annoying. I took me 3 attempts before it showed up. <<< Do you know how much grief that will cause?

I feel your pain, do you know how hard it was to test? I had this weird bug where it would skip by 1 at around 2018 and it landed on 2020, I left the bug in because it's funny.

The physics are an improvement over the original. The bullets are a a bit slow. The biggest problem with this one, tho, is the size. It's too big for the screen. You might want to shrink the dimensions down to a more manageable size; maybe 30% smaller.

And, please don't submit unfinished things to the Portal. If people submit unfinished things, then this will become an unimpressive site. Would you hang out on a site where none of the movies or games are completed? Think about it.

If you want feedback, tips, and ideas, that's fine, but this isn't the best place for this. The Portal is for finished items. The Forums are what you want. Load this into your Dumping Grounds. Once it's loaded there, copy and paste the link into the Forums (Community>Forums). That way, people see it and give tips, which is what you want, but it's not in the Portal, filling your account with low scores or blams, which you don't want.

This is a Construct tutorial or template.

Please don't submit things that come from tutorials or templates. They count as public files, since they're available to everyone. And when you do tutorials, you're not actually creating your own game. You're following steps to re-create someone else's game, and so, that's why they're actually against the rules. Submissions must be your own creation. You added nothing to this.

Templates are similar, in that they're a basic game that's already set up with code and sprites, but you then have to go and add your own touch to it before it's considered finished. You added nothing to this game.

Since it's a public file template or tutorial, it will be removed.

Keep working at creating things. Just make it all your own.

Good game. On the short side, but that's ok. How do you expand this, y'know?

I found an error. When you jump down and are between the first enemy and the wall, if you shoot him, he'll push you into the wall and into another screen. There, you fall, and get stuck falling.

You can tell who actually played the game by the scores and reviews. x)

It's actually the way I'm doing the knockback, where when you shoot, your X position gets added (or subracted) onto depending on which way you're facing. I'll try to fix this sometime today! And thanks !

There's no game here. All it does is bring up a face, and when you click it, it takes you to another website.

I do not want to download something I don't trust. I don't want to have to register for yet another username and password. Why would I want to go elsewhere to play something that I should be able to play here on this site? Make it playable here, without having to log in.

You don't need to download anything. Just need to register, we have no plan on integrating newground's login system at this moment.

There's no email bs, you just need an username and a password and you are good to go
