Yes, it is a flash "cartoon." :)

Typography counts as a cartoon, as it's animated, but with words instead of characters. Now, if you filmed yourself walking down the street with the song playing, yeah, instant blammo, because it would be video of real life on an animation site, and the response to it would be poor.

As for this, it wasn't bad at all.

It loks ok. But there's nothing to it. It's an intro to nothing.

The Newgrounds rules from the submit page say that "Your movie must not simply be an ad for your site." An "intro" for your site is just about the same thing. It's a useless thing on this site.

You may have some talent, but this isn't an animation, so, yeah, please submit animations, not intros.

I see where you're coming from but I never include a link to the site, so it isn't an advert :3 But seriously, I understand what you mean. I just feel Newgrounds is a little too strict on the whole "It has to be a movie that entertains people and cannot be an element to a website or anything miscellaneous." The thing I hate most is that this is just my first animation, and call me selfish but I wanted to keep a record of it, and ironically it would of been better if this got no views and didn't have to go through people finding it useless :P But it is an animation, all an animation is is "A simulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or frames." But I'm not being a dick and pretending to miss the point, it's all about entertaining people here and no one gives a fuck if you're "learning" or if you don't "make them laugh." Lol, that's why I started FKP. Anyway, I won't advertise that on here xD But thanks for not being a dick about my teeny animation I suppose, you could of just put "shit and pointless" ^^. And I do plan to do animations, but I'm just shit at drawing. I was naturally left handed but my mother thought it was a sign of the devil so she made me write with my right, and now both hands are shit. It's like I'm ambidextrous, but I can't use either hand xD

Embedded Links in a SWF is the correct way to present Large High Quality Movies on Newgrounds. It's New to CS5 AS 3.0. Read the AUTHOR'S COMMENTS at the Top under the Movie. Your review violates the rules of a proper review on Newgrounds. READ the NEWGROUNDS RULES.
