It's good, but rotate your picture, bro.

The artwork is not bad. I'd suggest against using backgrounds that you did not create. It'll affect your scores, and sometimes, can result in the removal of your piece.

Awesome work! Welcome to Newgrounds. :)

nakatan-the-seer responds:

Thanks!

That's because it's too small. Make it bigger. the system requires a certain size, and when it's smaller than the required size, it blows it up, which makes it look bad. As it is, with a light grey mouse on a white background, and being so small, people can't tell what's going on.

WillofTrees responds:

I figured as much. It seems to not blow up here. I'm intentionally keeping it teeny for my own reasons. Otherwise the practice went as planned.
Thanks for the helpful info!

Great work, but the watermark really detracts from it! :\

StudioBXR responds:

We watermark some artwork so it isn't easily stolen, as we've unfortunately had issues with that in past.

Haw! Same thing happened to me. I was fixing the blinds and they came down, just as my neighbor was walking up to my house. I'm pretty sure she thought I was spying on her or something. Great work on this one. Were you drawing Waldo?

kittenbombs1 responds:

Lol that's funny man... yeah I'm painting this http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/kittenbombs1/waldo

Thanks man for the like

Actually, it's fuzzy cuz you're holding it and either you or the camera moved. Set it down where there's good light and take the picture. Hold your breath as you snap and it'll help. Then, look at the photo. If it's fuzzy, redo it. If you can'[t get it clear, then tape the page to a wall where there's good light and set the camera on something that won't move, like a stack of books.

No one can appreciate your image if they cannot see it.

You've got some fantastic artwork. Please, bring more! :D

artbycaiti responds:

Thank you!

It's coming along, and has some cool aspects. However, please finish it before submitting. Seeing the same thing, multiple times, with only a slight improvement each time, actually makes your viewers' appreciation diminish. The more times you show it, the more they'll get used to it, and eventually, get bored with it. Have fun. Do great. Let your creativity flow. And when you're done, THEN submit it to raves and faves. Much better than, 'oh, here's another version of this...', right?

Also, please remove the older version when a newer version is put up. There's no need for 5 versions of the same thing up, for the reasons I just went over, but also because it's unnecessary and wastes time and space.

It's always great to see something new come from you. :)
